IPI Releasing HR-1201 Critique

It's not yet on the site of the Institute for Policy Innovation (as of the morning of March 11) but a PR Newswire release says IPI will soon be posting a new paper by University of Utah Professor Lee Hollaar critiquing HR-1201, the bill by Rep. Boucher (D-Va.) that would dilute the rights of copyright owners.

There are also resources for parents. Why now?

Speed Limits and Self-Absorption

The "Sunday
Source" section of The Washington Post
yesterday had a very odd cover story. It was titled "me" and it focused on the self-absorbed.
What was odd about it is that the Source section was created a few years ago by
the Post in order to appeal to
self-absorbed teens and twenty-somethings by focusing on their shallow interests,
namely the latest trends in fashion and entertainment. No articles on Darfur to be found in there. The section is quite inane,
but I suspect the hope was that once they lured this non-newspaper-reading
demographic to buy the Sunday Post,
they might glance at one of the other sections and realize there was a larger
world than their own social circle. Calling one's readers what they are -
