One More Look at Radiohead

Thursday, August 28th, 2008 by Patrick Ross

Yes, a lot has been written about Radiohead’s brief flirtation with allowing free (although they had a cup out for donations) downloading of their album “Chasing Rainbows” last year. I’m not going to add to that. I wanted to point out, however, a nice overview and perspective on the episode in DRM Watch by Michael Einhorn (disclosure — Einhorn is on the Copyright Alliance’s Academic Advisory Committee). This is perhaps one of the most concise and straightforward examinations of the topic.

Oh, and it mentions “Creep,” which is indisputably one of the most incredible, goosebump-causing rock songs of all time.
