Don’t Miss IPI’s Fifth Annual World IP Day Forum

Thursday, April 15th, 2010 by Patrick Ross

This is the fifth year the Institute for Policy Innovation is hosting a conference in conjunction with World IP Day. It keeps getting better every year, and I’m not just saying that because I’m moderating a discussion with longtime copyright advocate Rep. Robert Goodlatte (R-VA) and accomplished author and screenwriter Andrew Klavan.

This year’s event is on Capitol Hill at the Reserve Officers’ Association, One Constitution Avenue, NE (across from the Dirksen building). It’s free and comes with lunch. Assuming you’re already sold, please RSVP to Erin Humiston at erin@ipi.org; seating is limited.

The conference features keynote speakers Andrew Keen (author of “The Cult of the Amateur”) and Dr. Nam D. Pham, Managing Partner of NDP Consulting, as well as panels on small and medium enterprises (SMEs, which make up a great deal of the Copyright Alliance), patents, and building creative industries in other countries.

One thing I like about IPI’s annual forum is the chance to see old friends, but I always make new ones there too. Hope to see you there.
