In Case You Missed It: Torrent Freak Continues to Post Completely Inaccurate Article

The journalists over at Torrent Freak posted a story under the headline, “Judge: BitTorrent Downloads Are Protected Anonymous Speech.”  The article details how a Florida Court determined that infringing conduct is protected by the First Amendment, and that disclosing infringers’ identities would constitute a violation of their right to anonymous speech.

Upon learning that the court order was actually signed by mistake and has since been vacated – rending their story completely innacurate – Torrent Freak added an “update” to the story, leaving the headline and the meat of the piece as is.  See for yourself here.
